This utility model relates to the process of making eel "bakasi" con garlic sticks as a healthy and nutritious dish which comprises drizzling the 1 kilo eel or bakasi with 1/4 c. calamansi juice and 1T rock salt, blanching the bakasi, draining the bakasi, removing the outer skin of the bakasi and setting it aside, making of the marinade by mixing 3 1/2T garlic powder, 2 T crushed garlic, 2t white pepper, 1 T rock salt, 2T calamansi juice and 1/4 c. white vinegar, adding the bakasi in the mixed marinade, marinating the bakasi 8-10 hours or overnight, sun drying until well-dried, frying the bakasi in deep hot oil and removing the bakasi when golden brown.
