PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collection apparatus for marine algae which is usable even at a shoal, and capable of sucking up the marine algae to collect them without delay, while preventing suction of foreign objects such as sand.SOLUTION: A collection apparatus 1 includes a pump 2, a discharge tube 3 connected to the pump 2, a suction tube 4 branched and connected to the discharge tube 3, and a head 6 connected to the end part of the suction tube 4. The head 6 is composed of a cylindrical portion 7 having a cross-sectional area enlarging toward the end, and a spacer portion 8 projecting forward from the end of the cylindrical portion 7.
