An onion peeling device according to the present invention comprises: an outer skin cut forming unit which makes cuts on the skin of an onion so as to facilitate peeling a first outer skin removing unit which removes the cut skin parts of the onion a second outer skin removing unit which secondly removes the skin of the onion from which the outer skin is removed through the first outer skin removing unit and transfers the removed skin to the bottom an onion washing unit which washes the onion peeled through the second outer skin removing unit and re-removes the outer skin adhered on the onion and an onion collecting unit which collects onions washed through the onion washing unit. The amount of peeled onions per unit time is increased, so productivity is improved. Onions, which are not peeled, need not be sorted, so manpower for sorting is reduced and labor productivity is improved.
