PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine dioxide-generating agent capable of generating chlorine dioxide continuously for a long period and being useful for sterilization, antibacterial, deodorization, and anti-mold for life, operation and other space and environments, and a method of generating chlorine dioxide.SOLUTION: In a chlorine dioxide-generating agent and a method of generating chlorine dioxide, a chlorite and acidifying agent are kept to be separated in two agents and are subjected to mixing reaction when in use. By allowing acidifying agent to be an acid substance subjected to dispersion treatment with hydrophobic wax, the acid substance gradually dissolves in chlorite water solution. Chlorine dioxide can be continuously generated for a long period by gradual and persisting reaction instead of temporal reaction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】二酸化塩素を長期間継続して発生させることができ、生活、作業その他の空間、環境の除菌、抗菌、防臭、徐カビ剤として有用な二酸化塩素発生剤および二酸化塩素の発生方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の二酸化塩素発生剤および二酸化塩素の発生方法は、亜塩素酸塩と酸性化剤とを2剤に分離させておき、使用時に両剤を混合反応させる形態を採用し、さらに酸性化剤を疎水性ワックスで分散処理された酸性物質とすることにより、酸性物質が亜塩素酸塩水溶液に徐々に溶け出て、一時に反応するのではなく徐々に持続的に反応させることで、二酸化塩素を長期間継続して発生させることができる。【選択図】図1
