PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing sinker usable repeatedly and easy to attach to and detach from a fishline.SOLUTION: The fishing sinker is furnished with a nipping groove in which a fishline is inserted and fastened on the fishline by inserting the fishline into the groove and closing the groove, wherein the backside of the groove is provided with an opening for opening/closing the groove and furnished with a member for urging the groove so as to be closed.
