The present invention provides a floating ball structure. In application, a lot of floating balls are poured into a culture zone to cover a great amount of water surface area of the culture zone. The structure of the floating ball includes: a closed spherical surface which is a thin-shell closed body having a ball shape and a receiving space which is an interior space enclosed by the closed spherical surface. With the application of the floating balls in different embodiments, the use of floating balls to cover the culture zone isolates the cold air so as to prevent the cold air from quickly taking away the heat energy of water in the culture zone.
