The present invention is directed to a thermally controlled container for holding consumable products, said container including: a body having one or more soft or flexible layers, the body configured to define a cavity for receiving said consumable products； a lid having one or more soft or flexible layers, the lid configured to co¬ operate with said body to close the cavity； and at least one packet member having thermally sensitive material retained therein； at least one of the body or lid including an outer layer of soft sheet material, an intermediate layer of flexible insulative material and an inner layer of soft sheet material； a pocket formed between the inner layer of soft sheet material and the intermediate layer of flexible insulative material, the pocket defining an enclosed space into which the at least one packet member is received.
