The present invention relates to cleansing compositions including: (a) from about 3% to about 20% by weight based on the total weight of the composition amphoteric surfactant and (b) an alkyl glucoside surfactant, wherein a ratio of alkyl glucoside surfactant to amphoteric surfactant is at least 1 to 1, the composition is free of ethoxylated surfactants, and the composition has a viscosity of at least 1000 centipoise.
