<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an O-methylation-converting enzyme relating to flower color expression of sweet pea. <；P>；SOLUTION: There is disclosed a polypeptide described in any of following (a) to (d): (a) a polypeptide composed of a specific amino acid sequence； (b) a polypeptide in which one or a plurality of amino acids in the specific amino acid sequence are substituted, added, deleted or inserted and which has catalytic activity of forming methylated flavonoids； (c) a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 70% or more homology to the specific amino acid sequence and having catalytic activity of methylating flavonoids； and (d) a polypeptide encoded by a polynucleotide which is hybridizable to a complementary strand of a polynucleotide composed of a specific nucleotide sequence under a stringent condition and has catalytic activity of methylating flavonoids. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
