The present invention relates to an apparatus 1a for hand sanitisation comprising at least one port 2 suitable for insertion of at least one hand into a chamber 3. The chamber is provided with at least one sensor 4 suitable for detection of an entry of the at least one hand into the chamber; at least one ozone water output 7 of an ozone water supply 8 arranged to deliver ozone water to the at least one hand; and a control means 6 arranged to regulate a discharge from the at least one ozone water output which comprises a timer 5 arranged to regulate a sanitisation timing. The apparatus 1a further comprises a recognition device 9 arranged co-operative with the control means suitable to detect and recognize at least one user whose at least one hand is to be sanitized. The control means further comprises means for storing data 10 related to at least one sanitisation for the at least one user. Also claimed is a method of hand sanitisation, and a software product recorded on machine-readable data storage media, wherein said software product is executable upon computing hardware for implementing the method.
