PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable wheelchair which has high straight advancing property and durability even when being given load and shock and is highly safe.SOLUTION: Casters 7, 7 and main wheels 8, 8 are mounted in both end parts of a chassis 3 in which lateral frame members 32, 32 are bridged between a pair of longitudinal frame members 31, 31 placed in parallel at a distance in the width direction of a wheelchair. To surrounding surfaces of ceiling parts at one-side end parts of the longitudinal frame members 31, 31, lower ends of leg part frame members 52, 52 are joined in such a way that they can turn around shafts parallel to the lateral frame members 32 to be the width direction of the chassis 3.
