PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily producing a dried powder of earthworm, made harmless while suppressing the deactivation of activity of enzymes contained in the earthworm.SOLUTION: The method for producing the dried powder of the earthworm includes freeze-drying a ground product obtained by grinding raw earthworm, and subjecting the obtained dried product to heat treatment at a temperature of &ge110 and <130°C. The raw earthworm is preferably obtained by leaving the raw earthworm in a bright place for 10-50 h, peeling off the dirt attached to the skin, bringing the resultant earthworm into contact with an organic acid, diluting the organic acid with water so as to have pH 2-5 as rapidly as possible, leaving the earthworm in the condition for 3-180 min, and washing the earthworm with water.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡便に、かつ、ミミズに含まれる酵素の活性の失活を抑えながら無害化されたミミズ乾燥粉末を製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】生ミミズを摩砕してなる摩砕物を凍結乾燥し、得られた乾燥物を110℃以上130℃未満の温度で加熱処理することを特徴とするミミズ乾燥粉末の製造方法である。前記生ミミズが、10~50時間明所に放置後、体皮に付着する汚物を剥ぎ取り、次いで有機酸と接触させ、可及的速やかに水で希釈してpH2~5に調整し、この条件下に3~180分間保持した後、水洗したものであることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
