PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull-up absorbent article which is easily deformed along the belly side curved surface of a wearer, consequently has superior fitting property, and which prevents trouble due to nonuniformity in the joint strength of side seal parts, and enables compact manufacturing apparatus to be designed.SOLUTION: The upper belly area At of a belly side part includes a folded sheet 12a formed by folding an external layer sheet 12, an internal layer sheet 13, an auxiliary sheet 15, and a sheet constituting the external layer sheet 12 toward a skin surface side at a waist opening edge. The internal layer sheet 13 or the auxiliary sheet 15 are not superimposed on the folded sheet 12a in a thickness direction. The upper belly part area At includes a first triple layer part A31, a second triple layer part A32, and a double layer part A2 positioned between the triple layer parts. The total length (L31+L32) of the first triple layer part A31 and the second triple layer part A32 in a vertical direction of a diaper 1 is 70-97% of the length Lt of the upper belly part area At in the same direction.
