To provide a stent for forming anastomosis in the digestive tract.SOLUTION: The stent comprises a stent body having a constrained configuration. The stent body has a base end of the body expanded and making a base end side flange, a tip of the body expanded and making a tip side flange, and an expanded configuration with a cylindrical region extended between the base end side flange and the tip side flange. A cover is provided at least in the cylindrical region of the stent. The cylindrical region with the cover has an accessible internal passage configured so as to enable penetrating and flowing through the cylindrical region with the cover. The base end side flange and the tip side flange are configured so as to juxtapose an adjacent layer of the bodily tissue without damaging the bodily tissue between both.
