The invention relates to a method and an equipment for determining emissions of total volatile organic compounds of the gasoline used in the field of storing transport, loading, unloading and distribution installations, at gasoline terminals and stations. According to the invention, the method provides the simultaneous measurement of the concentration of total gasoline volatile organic compounds, of the flow rate of the mixture of the air-total volatile organic compounds through the discharging pipes, of the pressure and the temperature. By processing these values, there is determined the total emission of gasoline total volatile organic compounds. According to the invention, the equipment consists of a flow transducer (1), a transducer for measuring the concentration of the total volatile compounds of gasoline (2), a temperature transducer (3), a pressure transducer (4) and a computing unit (UC).
