To provide an improved-type aromatic pad and a mechanism for storing the same which can achieve an optical property of a humidifier and prevent damage on the humidifier.SOLUTION: A mechanism is preferably a part of a humidifier or a similar device, and arranged adjacent to a heated surface. The mechanism preferably includes a cover, a keyed part, and a rib part which suitably fits an aromatic member and prevents pads of other shapes from being inserted or used in a storage mechanism to optimize an operation. The aromatic pad 100 includes an upper linear edge 105, a side edge 106, two lower inclined edges 110, 115, and a lower linear edge 112 between the inclined edges. The upper linear edge and the lower linear edge are preferably substantially parallel with each other.
