The apparatus for an impromptu preparation of an individual quantity of a sterile fluid has a rigid cartridge (3) containing the fluid. A syringe (4) has a piston sliding within a cylinder, and an axial outflow opening (41). A flushing/sterilizing unit (5,6) is fitted in the flow path between the cartridge and the syringe, to sterilize the fluid by filtration.
