The machine has a rotor on a horizontal axis in a frame and equipped with a number of implements. These are adjustable into several different positions by rotating about an axis parallel to that of the rotor. They can be disc-shaped, and movable into two or more positions, and the axis about which they are adjusted can alternatively intersect that of the rotor, and they can rotate freely about it. The angle of intersection can be acute, 15 deg. or more, and it can be adjustable over a range of 8 deg. each way.
