PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray photographing apparatus in which the flexibility of a subject irradiation X-ray passing area is increased.SOLUTION: At a position where a part of X-rays capable of passing through a large irradiation field X-ray passing hole C1 can be shielded by a peripheral shielding area P3 under a small irradiation field X-ray passing hole C3 of a vertical direction displacement X-ray shielding plate XK2, the z direction of the vertical direction displacement X-ray shielding plate XK2 is position-set. In the state, the large irradiation field X-ray passing hole C1 of a horizontal direction deviation X-ray shielding plate XK1 and the small irradiation field X-ray passing hole C3 of the vertical direction displacement X-ray shielding plate XK2 do not overlap with each other at all on a zy plane.
