PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, though rice is sold to a consumer in the stored state in a bag of 5 kg or 10 kg, the rice is sent to a retail shop from an agricultural cooperative association or the like in the stored state in a bag of about 30 kg, but in this state, eggs of injurious insects such as rice weevil are not removed completely.SOLUTION: An air-permeable rice bag storing rice and a deoxidation agent is put into an air-nonpermeable bag made of a resin, deaerated and evacuated, thermally sealed (deposited or heat-sealed), encapsulated and held for 50 hours or longer, to thereby kill eggs of injurious insects.
