PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of easily changing the specifications of a crawler to a wheel.SOLUTION: A walking type mower includes a transmission shaft 24C provided in a lateral direction of a body 11, a pair of right and left crawlers 21 installed to the transmission shaft 24C, a hammer knife unit laid horizontally at the front of body 11, and a pair of front wheels installed in the right and left forward of the hammer knife unit and supporting the body 11.
