PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walker capable of assisting a user with weakness in the lower half body in standing up by himself/herself and allowing the user to comfortably use the device for a long period of time without assistance of others.
SOLUTION: The walker consists of a front wheel side frame body 62 composed of a pair of frame bodies with front wheels 36, and a rear wheel side frame body 64 composed of a pair of frame bodies with rear wheels 22. The rear wheel side frame body 64 and the front wheel side frame body 62 swing with a pair of right and left shaft members 46 as rotating axes, and are journaled to the shaft members in such a way as can be folded in the longitudinal direction. The rear wheel side frame body 64 has a plurality of pairs of right and left grips 26 and 30 disposed at different height positions to project to the rear wheel 22 side. The front wheel side frame body 62 has a pair of right and left grips 38 at relatively low positions to project in the same direction as the grips 26 and 30 disposed in the rear wheel side frame body 64.
