PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug injection apparatus which is easy to handle and safely administer a drug, and to provide a drug container used in the drug injection apparatus.SOLUTION: The drug injection apparatus 1 includes the drug container 3 filled with a drug, a needle tube 9 having first and second needle tips 10 and 11, a needle holding unit 7 for holding the needle tube 9, and a drug container mount 4 for installing the drug container 3. The drug container 3 has a container body 27, a needle puncture section formed on the container body 27, and a sealing member provided on the distal end of the needle puncture section 16. The needle puncture section 16 is a portion into which the second needle tip 11 of the needle tube is to be inserted.
