PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug injection apparatus easy to handle and capable of safely administering a drug, and an injection needle assembly used for the drug injection apparatus.SOLUTION: The injection needle assembly includes a drug container 3 filled with a drug, a needle tube 9, a needle holding part 7, a drug container installation part 4, and a cover part 20. The drug container 3 is constituted to be flexible at least in part. The needle tube includes a first needle tip 10 puncturing a living body, and a second needle tip 10 that can pierce the drug container 3 through a seal member. The needle holding part 7 holds an intermediate part of the needle tube 9. The drug container installation part 4 has an installation surface 25 for placing the drug container 3.
