PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compress a flexible drug container and to discharge a drug from an injection needle while stably holding an injection apparatus in the state of puncturing the injection needle to a living body.SOLUTION: The drug injection apparatus 1 includes a drug container 3, a needle tube 5, a needle holding unit 11 and a drug container mount 15. The needle tube 5 has a first needle tip 8 and a second needle tip 9, and the middle part of the needle tube is held by the needle holding unit 11. The second needle tip 9 projects from the drug container mount 15. The drug container 3 has a container body 31, a sealing member 32 and a protective plate 33. The container body 31 has a contact section 35 through which the second needle tip 9 passes and a compression section 36 that faces the contact section 35, and the compression section 36 is deformed by being compressed to the side of the contact section 35. The sealing member 32 is attached to the part of the contact section 35 through which the second needle tip 9 passes, and closely adheres to the peripheral surface of the needle tube 5 in a liquid-tight manner.
