The pharmaceutical dosage form according to claim 1, wherein the antiplatelet agent is one or more of clopidogrel, aspirin, prasugrel, ticagrelor, ticlopidine, anagrelide, cilostazol and dipyridamole. 3. The pharmaceutical dosage form according to claim 1, wherein the antiplatelet agent is one or more of clopidogrel, ticagrelor, and aspirin. The pharmaceutical dosage form of claim 1, wherein the antiplatelet agent is clopidogrel and / or aspirin. The pharmaceutical dosage form of claim 1, wherein the dosage form contains from about 25 mg to about 200 mg of metoprolol and from about 5 mg to about 770 mg of antiplatelet agent.
