The invention relates to a phase separator comprising at least two spaced-apart ducts through which a phase mixture to be separated is conducted and which are on top of each other and are connected to each other via intermediate tubes extending at an angle from the ducts. The invention also relates to a method for separating phase mixtures using the disclosed phase separator and in particular for separating two-phase liquid mixtures.
