A method for producing a vitis vinifera extract and the extract produced by said method are disclosed. Said method comprises drying the raw materials of vitis vinifera, dipping them into ethanol to provide an extract, after removing ethanol, partially separating and removing the inactive residue from the extract, passing the extract through macroporous resin, eluting the resins with ethanol to give an intermediate, after removing ethanol, refining the intermediate containing the active components, separating and collecting high concentrations of polyphenols and free phenols, affording the extract having high contents of polyphenols, and at least more than 10,000 µmol TE/g of ORAC values, drying them to give a desired powder, ultimately testing and packing.
