Pharmaceutical use of the natural molecule extracted from a citrus fruit used as anticholesterol drug.La présente invention concerne une molécule naturelle extraite d’un agrume caractérisée par le fait que sa structure est un flavonoïde lié à de l’acide 3-hydroxy-3-méthyl-glutarique et un procédé d’extraction dans lequel : l’extraction du fruit haché est conduite dans du chloroforme, de l’éthanol ou du méthanol pur ou mélangé pendant un certain temps, le filtrat est évaporé jusqu’à l’état sec, le résidu est soumis à une extraction en phase solide afin de séparer la partie flavonoïdique de l’autre classe de composés, le mélange du flavonoïde est séparé à l’aide d’un système de chromatographie CLHP préparative. La présente invention porte sur lutilisation pharmaceutique, en tant que médicament anticholestérol, de la molécule naturelle extraite d’un agrume.
