PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic device that is hard to be broken, is inexpensive, and has a simply constituted braking mechanism for braking rotation of a drum for winding and storing an insertion unit, and in which operability of the braking mechanism is improved.SOLUTION: The endoscopic device includes a rotating unit 6 for winding and storing an insertion unit 2 and being arranged rotatably in a frame 10, a braking unit 61 for braking the rotation of the rotating unit 6, and a braking operation unit 62 for operating the braking and releasing by the braking unit 61 for the rotation unit 6.
