PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical manipulator facilitating the mounting of a distal unit.SOLUTION: A medical manipulator 100 is configured so that a distal end side and a proximal end side can be attached and detached and comprises: a distal unit 300 that includes an end effector 380 on the distal end side, joint sections 373 and 377 that are arranged on the proximal end side of the end effector, and first power transmission sections 303 and 304 that transmit direct power in the lengthwise direction for moving the end effector or the joint sections and a proximal end unit 200 that includes a drive unit 201 that generates power on the proximal end side for moving the end effector or the joint sections, and second power transmission sections 207 and 208 that transmit the power generated from the drive unit to the distal end side, and that can be attached to or detached from the distal unit at the distal end.
