PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless endoscope with excellent operability, which enables a user to grasp a battery capacity of a battery to be mounted before mounting the battery to a wireless endoscope body.SOLUTION: A battery 7 comprises a sensor 37a for detecting operation when the battery is mounted to a wireless endoscope body. On the basis of a detection signal of the sensor 37a, a power transmission circuit 38 supplies power to a power receiving circuit 32 of the wireless endoscope body 6 by wireless power supply. The power transmission circuit also transmits data of a capacity of a battery 35. After receiving the wireless power supply, the power receiving circuit 32 receives the transmitted data of the capacity of the battery 35 and displays the received data on an indicator 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
