A garment fabric comprises a fabric support for defining the shape of agarment and having a surface to at least a part of which there is secured atherapeutic fabric layer by means of a flexible adhesive which comprises aherb ingredient, said flexible adhesive at least partially penetrating intoeachof the fabric support and the therapeutic fabric layer to provide chemicaladhesion and a mechanical interlock between said layers. For forming thegarment fabric the fabric support and the therapeutic fabric layer each have alayer of adhesive applied thereto prior to bringing the two layers of fabricintocontact with one another, with the adhesive material sandwichedtherebetween.
