A transformant plant having at least a plant RNA virus vector, which contains polynucleotides encoding a protein but is free from a polynucleotide encoding a silencing suppressor, and a polynucleotide encoding an NSs protein having been transferred thereinto, wherein at least one polynucleotide encoding a viral replicative enzyme from among the polynucleotides contained in the plant RNA virus vector as described above and the NSs protein-encoding polynucleotide as described above are each provided with an expression inducible promoter in the upstream thereof. Owing to this structure, it is possible to provide a transformant plant, which can effectively produce a foreign protein without undergoing silencing or growth abnormality even in an amplification system using a plant RNA virus vector free from a silencing suppressor, a transformed cell, a protein production kit and a method of producing a protein.
