PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breaking tine for a tiller which is effective in improving operation efficiency of a tiller, improving durability of parts (breaking tine), and increasing agricultural productivity.SOLUTION: A breaking tine includes a mounting flange mounted to a rotary shaft of a tiller, vertical blades extending from the mounting flange and each provided with an arc-like blade biting into soil inward from a surface layer of the soil by being rotated, and an auxiliary blade formed on the vertical blade and stirring and crushing the soil while leveling the soil. Preferably, a plurality of the auxiliary blades are attached to one vertical blade, and the protruding direction of the auxiliary blade is opposite to the rotating direction of the vertical blade.
