PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling roller for molding food products, which is capable of improving texture of food materials molded into a plate-like shape.SOLUTION: Provided is a rolling roller 41 for molding a food product, which is a first rolling roller 41 for rotating a food material to be rolled and molded. The rolling roller is a substantially columnar body which includes: a side face 411 for rolling the food material and a plurality of protrusions 414 provided with a space provided in between other protrusions 414 in a circumferential direction or spiral direction of the side face 411.
