The method for lining a square oil storage tank comprises fitting fiber mats over the floor and walls which overlap at the corners. A top layer (16) of mat is fitted over a plastic liner (22), with the dome connector (20) passed through an aperture (18) in it. The liner is then inflated so that the gap around the connector is sealed. Independent claims are included for: (a) the tank lining; and (b) a tank fitted with the lining.
