PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asymmetric organic nanotube that can be produced in large quantities at low cost, and makes it possible to encapsulate various kinds of guests.SOLUTION: Asymmetric two-headed lipid molecules represented by the general formula 1 are made to assemble in liquid by themselves, to obtain an asymmetric organic nanotube.
