The invention relates to a composition (A) and a method for dyeing keratin fibres, including the use of one or more metal catalysts and composition (A), said composition including: one or more oxidising agents at least one aminopyridine oxidation base of formula (I) or one of the addition salts or solvates thereof, wherein the R groupings are, separately from one another, a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy radical, a halogen atom, a C1-C10 alkyl radical, a C1-C20 alkoxy radical, a cycloalkyloxy radical having 5 or 6 links, one of the carbon atoms constituting said cycle optionally being substituted or replaced by a heteroatom, a C1-C5 alkylthio radical, two adjacent R groupings capable of forming together a saturated or unsaturated cycle having 5 or 6 links and consisting of carbon atoms and, optionally, one or more oxygen atoms and at least 10 wt.-% fats.Linvention a pour objet une composition (A) et un procédé de coloration des fibres kératiniques, comprenant la mise en oeuvre dun ou plusieurs catalyseurs métalliques et de la composition (A), laquelle comprend: • un ou plusieurs agents oxydants, et • au moins une base doxydation aminopyridine de formule (I) ou lun de ses sels daddition ou solvates dans laquelle les groupements R représentent, indépendamment les uns des autres : un atome dhydrogène un radical hydroxy un atome dhalogène un radical alkyle en C1-C10, un radical alcoxy en C1-C20 un radical cycloalkyloxy à 5 ou 6 chaînons, lun des atomes de carbone constituant ledit cycle pouvant être substitué ou remplacé par un hétéroatome, un radical alkylthio en C i-C5 deux groupements R adjacents pouvant formés ensemble un cycle à 5 ou 6 chaînons, saturé ou insaturé, constitué datomes de carbone et éventuellement dun ou plusieurs atomes doxygène, au moins 10%-pds en corps gras.
