In the present invention, using the allele was present and had a good trait can get a great effect to improve egg production and body weight , such as South Korea native chickens .본 발명을 통해 한국 재래닭의 UCP 유전자 내의 염기변이 지역 10개를 검출 하였다. 또한 검출된 염기 변이 지역과 경제형질간의 연관성을 분석한 결과 C+282T의 C 대립유전자와 C+433T의 T 대립유전자가 조사된 경제형질 항목에서 좋은 영향력을 발휘하고 있다. 본 발명에서 우수한 형질을 가졌다고 제시한 대립유전자를 이용하여 한국 재래닭의 산란율과 체중등을 개량하는 데 큰 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
