PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice boiled with barley which has good water holding capacity after passing of constant time after rice cooking, without becoming dry, and having juicy taste.SOLUTION: Provided is a production method of a rice boiled with barley using polished barley of glutinous barley as a raw barley, and including steps of adding the water for rice cooking to the raw barley and cooking, in which a ratio of weight of the rice boiled with barley after rice cooking with respect to weight of the raw barley is 230%-340%.
