The invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering. The applied machine for shredding stubble and spreading thereof across the surface of the field comprises a casing made as a horizontal platform, to the right and left sides of which, relative to the moving direction of the machine, vertical boards, made of sheet material, are fixed. In the casing at least two cutting machines are placed. Each side board is made of two parts, the front part of which, as to the moving direction of the machine, is immovably connected with the casing, and the rear part, pivotally attached thereto, is made in such a manner as to allow turning thereof outside of the casing. The free end of the rear board is equipped with a horizontal cover plate, equipped with a unit for fixing the board to the platform at least in two positions. The horizontal cover plate is made as a sector of a circle. The use of the invention results in an increase in the width of a band of spreading the shredded particles while shredding straw windrows.Изобретение относится к области сельскохозяйственного машиностроения.
