Hygienic device for the collection of menstrual flow comprising a body (2) that is waterproof and flexible, for example in silicone, in the shape of a cup-like container, in the outer bottom part of which, opposite to the opening (21), it has fastening means (3) in order to extract it once used, characterised in that said fastening means (3) comprise a threadlike element (31), preferably a string or a long and thin extension made of the same material as the body (2) of the container itself, which is long enough so that once the device (1) is placed inside the body of the user the distal end thereof lies outside the body. Optionally, the threadlike element (31) has a structure that can easily be cut at one, two or more points (32) such that the user may shorten it at will to minimise its length. Optionally, the threadlike element (31) is provided in its proximal area, where it joins the bottom part of the body (2) of the container, with at least one projection (33), and on the distal end of the threadlike element (31) it is provided with a projection (33) to facilitate holding it when full. Optionally, on the top part of the body (2) of the container one or more openings (4) are provided close to the edge of the opening (21).
