PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation unit and a plant cultivation device capable of providing environment resulting in productivity improvement of foodstuffs such as vegetables in plant cultivation.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation facility P includes a cultivation tray 30 which houses: a moisture conditioning plate material 60 comprising a closed space in which an air conditioner 1 and a luminaire 20 are installed, and holding plants； a culture medium 40； and a waterproof cover 50 provided between the moisture conditioning plate material 60 and the culture medium 40. The plant cultivation facility P humidifies an area around the plants by making use of the moisture-absorbing/releasing property of the moisture conditioning plate material 60 to which drain water discharged from the air conditioner 1 is supplied through a watering tube 70, and suppresses temperature rise around the plants by using evaporation (endothermic) heat generated by water evaporation from the moisture conditioning plate material 60.【課題】植物栽培において、野菜等の食材の生産性向上につながる環境を提供可能な植物栽培ユニット及び植物栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】植物栽培施設Ｐは、空調装置１と照明装置２０とが設置された閉鎖空間からなり、植物を保持する調湿プレート材６０と、培地４０と、調湿プレート材６０と培地４０との間に設けられる防水カバー５０と、を収容する栽培トレイ３０を備えている。そして、空調装置１から排出されるドレン水を灌水チューブ７０を介して調湿プレート材６０に灌水することによって、調湿プレート材６０の吸放湿性を利用して植物周辺を加湿すると共に、調湿プレート材６０の水分蒸発の気化熱（吸熱）を利用して植物周辺の温度上昇を抑制している。【選択図】図３
