PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model for evaluating extracellular matrix structure formation, a method for evaluating ability to promote extracellular matrix structure formation using medicines ability to promote collagen fiber structure formation as an index using the evaluation model, and a method for evaluating skin structure formation, especially dermis structure formation.
SOLUTION: There is provided a model for forming three-dimensionally cultured extracellular matrix structure having the feature that extracellular matrix-producing cells are cultured on a culture supporter or carrier in which the generation of second harmonic generation (SHG) light is not detected even when an ultrashort light pulse is radiated as incident light.
