The invention relates to a method for promoting branch rooting rate, comprising the steps of: firstly obtaining a lignified branch fabricating a concave slot on a nose of the branch so that an area range of the nose can be increased by the fabricated concave slot on the nose of the branch and sequentially dipping one side of the branch containing the nose in a bactericidal agent and a rooting agent. In virtue of the formation of the concave slot to increase the area range of the nose, the nose is provided with an increased area to absorb the bactericidal agent and the rooting agent. Accordingly, the nose configured with the concave slot is capable of absorbing sufficient and suitable amount of medical liquid in a short time period, and drug efficacy of the bactericidal agent and the rooting agent can effectively act on a circumference of the nose, thereby largely promoting branch rooting rate.
