Disclosed is an apparatus for measuring bio-information such as pressure. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus may comprise: a pulse wave sensor measuring a pulse wave signal from an object to be inspected； and a fingerprint sensor obtaining fingerprint sensor information of the object to be inspected. In addition, the apparatus may estimate a contact area of the object to be inspected based on the fingerprint sensor information obtained from the fingerprint sensor and measure bio-information based on a contact area with the pulse wave signal.혈압과 같은 생체정보를 측정하는 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 생체정보 측정 장치는 피검체로부터 맥파 신호를 측정하는 맥파 센서와 피검체의 지문 센서 정보를 획득하는 지문 센서를 포함할 수 있다. 또한 지문 센서로부터 획득된 지문 센서 정보를 기초로 피검체의 접촉 면적을 추정하고 맥파 신호와 접촉 면적을 기초로 생체정보를 측정할 수 있다.
