PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope, changing treatment tools more easily in a shorter time without impairing the conventional operation method for the treatment tool and feeling of operation, and enabling one operator to perform changing procedure.
SOLUTION: The endoscope includes: a first stopper 475a at a lower stage and a second stopper 475b at a higher stage of a stopper member 473 for stopping a raising operation of a raising base in the middle within a predetermined operation range from the start of raising the treatment tool raising base and an operating lever for enabling the treatment tool raising base to raise to the whole range of the operation of the treatment tool raising base by releasing the middle stop operation of the treatment tool raising base with the first stopper 475a at the lower stage and the second stopper 475b at the higher stage of the stopper member 473.
