[Problem] To provide a milky beverage that is rich in flavor. [Solution] A milky beverage containing proline. The milky beverage may have a fermented milk flavor. This milky beverage may contain less than 3.0% of non-fat milk solids, and may contain less than one million lactic acid bacteria or yeast cells per 1 mL. The milky beverage may also be a yogurt flavored soft drink. This milky beverage need not contain amino acids other than proline. This milky beverage can be stored at room temperature.
