The present invention provides a thermosensitive hydrogel composition, which includes chitosan, β-glycerophosphate, and glycerol. The thermosensitive hydrogel composition is changed between a transparent sol state and an opaque/turbid gel state in accordance with the temperature variation, thus it can be applied to the field of temperature warning. In addition, because the components of the thermosensitive hydrogel composition is biodegradable, biocompatible, and non-toxic, the thermosensitive hydrogel composition is environment-friendly and safely.
